AFAIK, any game you download and burn should play in all regions. Some titles have a 50hz/60hz selection screen when you boot them up.

Burned games work regardless of region, original discs do not. And you'll be getting 50/60Hz selection in most games in PAL settings.

^ There are ten to fifteen millions of Dreamcast out there and warez got nothing to do with messing up a Dreamcast.
Also, it's his Dreamcast. He bought it. He can do whatever he want with it.

I didn't realize that many Dreamcasts out there are still functional...
I wasn't saying warez ruins the system either, but I'm aware of the 'myths' surrounding cd-r usage.
I was just saying don't use up the remaining working DCs out there to play pirated games, when someone else could get some real 'legal' use out of it.
There are these things called 'emulators', unless you're living in a pre 1.8Ghz PC era...

There is in SOME truth in that myth, as if I remember correctly, a burned disc pushes the Dreamcast laser to work harder to read it. Thus, it it wears out a LITTLE quicker than retail CDs.

I am not quite sure if that is true. All I know is that there are backups where the file order intended for the game had been neglected and thus the Dreamcast has to do more work than if you were to play the original.

Warez means pirated software e.g. a burned illegal copy of Sonic Adventure.
