    Sunglasses The Humans

Guiding mindless little creatures around a level so that they don't blindly fall to their death seems to have caught on, as evidenced by the success of Lemmings. There have been several other entries in this style of games, and Gametek's The Humans has players taking the fate of the human race in their hands. Are we worth saving? You'll have to read our full review and decide for yourself!

I bought this game about a year ago with the intention of reviewing it. I got frustrated with the controls and lost interest before I got too far into it.

Yeah, the game would definitely have been better if it weren't for the poor controls...

I've played the Amiga version, and it play far better with a mouse, but I'm sure they could've done better for the console version.

Wow. 'First time I hear of this game. It's always nice to know there are more Genny titles out there I've never played. It looks like Lemmings meets Shadow of the Beast.

It looks better than Lemmings to me, yet I haven't played either! I think I'll look for this game first.

Shadow of the Beast? Funny you should say that, since both Lemmings and Shadow of the Beast were developed by the same company, namely Psygnosis...

And there actually exists a "Lemmings meets Shadow of the Beast"... in the game Lemmings (at least in the home computer versions, don't know about the Genesis) there exists a stage called "A Beast of a Level". Both design and music of that stage are based on SotB.

the boxart looks like it was illustrated by the same guy who did rocko's modern life.
I don't play old stuff for nostalgia, I play old stuff because the games are better.
