    heart Sega 16 staff writers

I've been reading alot of reviews and articles in the last few days, and I would just like to take a moment and say that I think this current staff is the best that the site has ever seen(whatever happened to vince?, not sure if he was ever an official member but i always really enjoyed his reviews).

im a huge fan of anything written by sebastian, the sports guy, and doug they are the best, i hope you guys stick around.

    I really like christian's articles

and lets just face it ken just about always kicks everyone's asses in the reader roundtable.

Briggs and brax are great as well.

Keep the good stuff coming guys im always chomping at the bit for some new stuff!!
I don't play old stuff for nostalgia, I play old stuff because the games are better.

Thanks for your support, it's great to hear!

I'm currently working on a Columns Side-By-Side article, and Ken still has to put up my Buster Douglas side-by-side.

Vince had to stop writing a couple months back, he was the last original staff member on the site.

aww, shucks. Thanks for the roses It's good to be wanted.

After I hit a slump in the last few weeks I'm trying to increase my output again. Expect me to dive into "Hacks & Homebrews" and "Sega Gear"-territory once more in the near future. Review-wise I'm currently working on "Corporation" (aka Cyber-Cop) and "Bloodshot (aka "Battle Frenzy"). And I've also got a special Sega CD-review lining up...

"Briggs and Brax" sounds like an awesome duo! Like "Summer Blockbuster"-quality! IP, Zebbe, you two have to get together and create a podcast or something!

Phantar: My speaking English isn't very listening friendly, I'm afraid, but thanks for the suggestion .

Well Briggs has been absent for about as long as Vinny (good to see you around Vinny!), but I promise to start contributing more often.

The crazy thing is, I don't really have a valid excuse for not contributing more. I graduated a year ago, so while I used to work 40 hours and go to school full-time, now I just work. I have plenty of downtime, and I'm pretty wasteful with it.

I think we sometimes take Ken for granted. That guy is a machine. He's picked up my slack for the last two years, contributes more than anyone else (it is his site after all!), is a full-time teacher, father, and husband, and still manages to have the most ridiculous gamerscore I've seen.

Thanks for all the kind staff compliments from all of you, I for one feel good about hearing that kind of stuff.

Vinny you should come back for old times sake and write another review for us every now and then!

^a machine indeed!, just the father, husband thing is enough hard work.

I don't know where the thread is that i posted an explanation, but I have before. Basically, I'm out of games I really want to write about. I havent really touched my Genesis in awhile for a few reasons, and just started getting back to my 360 (Anyone want to add me? SN:Vinnayt)

So, IT could happen one day, but I can't say for sure it will. If anything, read my last review (Ballz) which is kinda how I still feel.

EDIT: My original explanation, if you care:

    Wasted? Yeah.

Laid? Well, someone in the house did......but not me. Not gonna explain further.

I should probably mention here though something I'm sure has been obvious for awhile. The last thing I actually contributed was the story LAST YEAR about burning my friends Genesis. Since then, it hasn't been in me to write like it use too.

Every time I tried, I just wasn't happy with what I put down. It was generic, or at least a rehash of a different review. I'm no professional writer, but I know when I'm out of stuff.

    I'm out of stuff.

    This is a resignation.

I've become busy with life in general, along with work and hopefully starting school in the fall. I've been hogging that staff position for too long, and it needs to end.

I'm not leaving. I'll still be here and moderating like before, but not as a staff member. I may send stuff in again one day, but back as a contributor like before.

Ken, thank you so DAMN much for helping me out and posting my crap up when I was 17. It wasn't the best but you thought it was good enough. I'm sorry my writing pretty much came to a halt. You don't need someone constantly saying they'll help, then not do it. And I've been doing that for too long.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes, and I hope that I can still be as loved next year. Who knows what's going on then?
