    Sonic Megamix is the best:

But I must try sonic 3d blast with no flickies and super sonic... sounds like the most awesome thing ever.
    This thread needs more... ENGINEERS

I've been playing many of the hacks from the above link. I tend to like the different characters as well as the additional moves given to characters. By the time of Sonic 3 at least, he should have gotten the move like in this hack:

Another fan hack where the homing attack works better than in Sonic 4

Sonic 1 @ SAGE 2010 is great, but Sonic 3 Complete is better
Thatīs the way Sonic 3 should have been released

Robotnik's Revenge is also fun. Reminds me of the code for Sonic 3D Blast where you can fight all of the bosses. The last bost being very extensive.

    Here's a great hack:

    Jester's Challenge

It's a long maze with some of the best music/sfx I've ever heard in a Sonic hack; if you want a challenge, then give this a try...

Yeah that one is INSANE! It is technically really impressive and the music in it is all kinds of awesome.

Yeah, it's a serious mind-fuck; not even savestates will help you.

It's still pretty awesome though, simply because how unique and fresh it feels compared to all the other Sonic hacks out there.

Can someone guide me as to how to get Megamix to work with the SCD? I was unaware. Google hasn't been much help.

    Thanks!

**EDIT** OH MY GOD, Why oh WHY DID I NOT PLAY MEGAMIX SOONER!??

If you like that, you should check this one out: Sonic The Lost Worlds http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_the...he_Lost_Worlds

It's a little better. It has Hidden Palace, Wood Zone, the desert and winter levels and Cyber City

Is there a "Sonic 1 with spindash only" hack? If yes, then that's my favourite, alongside "Knuckles in Sonic 1".

Last night I put in Sonic Megamix to show a friend. She loved it of course. She wanted to change his moves back to classic moves, so I changed some options that I thought did that.

Title screen, amazed and thrilled to hear the song from Sonic 1! Started and was amazed that we found ourselves playing the 1st stage of Sonic 1 (instead of Megamix), playing as Knuckles actually. I've had Megamix a couple years, and never realized Sonic 1 was included alongside Megamix!!!!!

How can this hack get forgotten?

    Sonic 2 LD

Sonic 2 for Genesis, on the Master System!
