    Default Flintstones 50th Anniversary

50 years ago today, we got to meet The Flintstones for the first time. It's good to see that, over the years, they managed to remain relevant, even during the 2000's:

    You can never have enough

I suppose that we have to thank Hanna-Barbera and The Flintstones for pioneering night-time animation programming and thus opening the door for The Jetsons, The Simpsons, Family Guy, etc.

There's only one appropriate response for this:

    Yabba dabba doo!

The cartoon was ok, but the Flintstones movie with John Goodman is epic.

The show remains alive as long as Fruity/Cocoa Pebbles are sold.

Well, all the more good reason for me to write a review for the Flinstones game for the Genesis! I am definitely going to add this little tidbit in when I finally start writing the review. But I do have two games to review before it...

That cig commercial (today) is the most comical thing ever.

I know its a product of the time, but between Fred and Barney lighting up *and* selling the things...too funny

Those cigarette commercials were indeed pretty funny, those damn movies they made though were horrible
