Thanks! I spent alot of time on that one to get it as perfect as I could because I am a big Sonic fan.

Star Wars Arcade is next. Soon, guys. Soon.

Ok, I recorded Star Wars Arcade, but I wasn't happy with it. It sounded too scratchy. I don't know if that's how the music is or not. So, I am going to go back and try again and see if I can do any cleanup on the tracks. I didn't want to post something I wasn't happy with so SW Arcade is delayed.

BUT, I did complete the Virtua Racing Deluxe OST. So check out the first post and give it a listen!

I forgot to mention for this thread that I have the 32X Doom soundtrack recorded as well. It is from a Genesis 1 Sega CD 1 32X combo as usual, 44Khz 192kbps MP3.

It's nice to see Doom 32X soundtrack, but it's not perfect. What about perfectly looping tracks without "fade out" effect? Music from level 3 wasn't recorded fully. Soundtrack also lacks intermission and ending music. By the way, what about recording those 2 hidden tracks from Rom which Saxman released somewhere in this forum.

Is it possible to access the hidden tracks on real hardware?

I'll need to record the missing tracks and re-record level 3 then. All of my older recordings either end at a point that might as well be a fade out or I faded them out. I like to listen to the entire game's in game music, not necessarily every single song in the ROM. There should be enough of the tracks for you to edit them for looping should you want to.

If you can get that Rom on cart. Actually, I know nothing about flash carts (or is it what I readed). I seen few threads about it, but I never looked inside, since it's quite boring.

    Hmmm I don't get it...

Ok, I will get my lazy butt to that Audacity. (Some smile goes here)

I am re-recording Level 3's music right now, it looks like it just flat stops at around 5:00. I'll have it up here in a bit and will post to the group. I'll also encode it at the same MP3 bitrate as Cornholio857 has been, just to compare it to the rest of the tracks.

    -edit-

It's up! I actually left the short version of Level 3 up as well for comparison, and because I actually like the first part better than the second. Also, is there a sound test for Doom 32X? There is no way I'm recording the ending and intermission without one.

I'd love to see some Zaxxon's Motherbase 2000 music get recorded. It had some pretty awesome music.

I'd gladly record it, but unfortunately I don't have that game.

I don't think there is. All I could think to do is cheat and use God Mode, or the All Ammo/All Weapons Cheat to get to those levels.
