I agree with the part about the non-referenced text. This is the first RPG I've played that doesn't have either a picture or a name to go with what is being said. It's self-explanatory for the most part, though.
I believe he said Longeva (the drug). You must go up to Malaba (make sure you have a passport with you), right back through customs and into one of the warehouses (I think it was the first one of three on the right, I may be mistaken). Then you'll have to go back to Al city and take the Longeva to Rick's wife, who is inside the hospital. She'll take the meds to Beatrix city for their daughter, so you may want to go down there just for kicks, but you don't have to (it's the first house on the left at Beatrix). I believe you can take it from there. Let me know.
So what's the consensus on length for this game? Just placed my order, wondering how long it will take to get through.
About 13-15 hours for me.
Currently Reviewing: Steel Talons
Coming Up:TF3 Side by Side, Gods
Done: RDF Global Conflict
I'm going to go into this game with an open mind but knowing it has Wukong-like encounter rates doesn't help *starts rocking back and forth while sucking thumb*
I played Friday, Saturday and early Sunday. About 8, 8 and 1 hour respectively. I guess I could guesstimate somewhere in the range of 17-20 hours for me.
P.S.> I found it to be a lengthy game. It's just that it flowed quickly; perhaps because of the story. But I don't think it was short at all. It was perhaps the same length as Legend of Wukong (and, in fact, it played very much like Legend of Wukong; having a linear story and moving to one area, finishing the mission and moving to the next). But, again, the story was far more satisfying than LoW (even though Legend of Wukong was a pretty solid RPG overall, and just as satisfying, gameplay-wise).
I Don't know what Star Odyssey is, but if I have listen correctly, it's another RPG game for the sega genesis/mega drive made by another group of people just like water melon?
Not exactly, they didn't make it. They bought the rights to a 1991 JP only game, translated it and released it basically. The OP is where you should start to know the whole deal.
Diabetes sucks!
neat, didn't know you could actually buy the rights of games from all games anymore. all whats OP?
Pardon me, but shouldn't all of this bickering about the review score be posted in the review thread? This thread is supposed to be focused on the game itself. I'm all for people sharing their opinions, but as most of these recent posts are solely about the Sega-16 review of the game and / or the website's reviews in general, it makes sense to me that it would be a more appropriate discussion for that thread.
As usual, I'm just trying to make sure that legitimate customer questions and / or requests for help getting through the game aren't buried under a deluge of arguments.
Thank you.

You're right. I've moved the score discussion to the SO review thread.
So the original Japanese version had 8 MEGA POWER and the Super Fighter Team version has 16 MEGA POWER.
Let's see what was added:
-New SFT Intro
-Probably more elaborate text than the original
What else makes up the extra 8 MEGA POWER? You literally doubled the amount of the game code if your advertising is correct.
