Got mine today! Looks like I was worried over nothing when I didn't get the confirmation e-mail even though I knew I was one of the first (maybe 7th?) to order. I eventually got two shipping confirmation e-mails yesterday or the day before, though. Weird. But that matters not any more.

Haven't played it yet. Everything is very high quality, especially the cart and the manual. The box art is a bit odd without the full "Genesis" and "Mega Drive" names. If it ends up bugging me over the long term, I'll use DJ Shock's artwork (which I have downloaded). There is a bit of ink smearing on the back in the text.

Sweet deal. I just got my confirmation today. Some would be upset, but not me. I was worried it might've arrived today while it was pouring outside. This means there's a chance I'll get mine over the weekend, while I'm at home sweet home.

Brandon, where are you getting these post office shipping boxes? I used to get those same boxes for free from the P.O. (they had to be ordered online) but they have stopped carrying them from what I can see. Now their smallest box is much too large.

Jeez, I hope my comments didn't sound harsher than they were meant to be. The art actually looks better once it's removed from the box -- the plastic covering is uncommonly glossy. Still, I'm curious as to whether you feel that the printed version fully represents your design -- at first glance the printing quality seems a notch below my other two SFT games, but I could be wrong about that.

The printed version is not precisely what I envisioned. I see that the spine measurement I was working with was slightly wider than the actual spine measurement of the case. If I could do it over, I'd pull the crease lines a wee bit closer to the edge and narrow the bindings.

Otherwise, it looks like I expected. I'm fairly happy with it, and I guess Brandon is too.

We sold through the first 300 copies in a record six days. We're still taking orders, but the next 300 copies must be manufactured before we can ship them -- so yes, there will be a slight waiting period before those copies are shipped to customers.

silly question really, it took 6 days to sell out, your copy will be in that first 300 if you ordered within a day of its release...think about it

I'm not even sure my copy is shipped, I only got an order confirmation. I believe I ordered on the second day, would have ordered right away, but I didn't get email that the game is available until after a week or more.
