As a noob at game genie, I have a simple question are codes region specific or does it not matter. And why is it when applying some codes to Comix Zone the game keeps resetting?

GG codes are modifications to the code of the game, so they have to be used only for the same version they were made for. If the game keep resetting is because you're using codes made for other version/region/revision of that game or you wrote a code wrong.

People 'round here can't come up with Game Genie codes. But over at GSHI they can do almost anything.... as long as it can be done. If the code you want doesn't exist, go into the retro hacking forum and ask VisitntX to see what he can do.

[1] These codes will only work for the Takara release, it's not my fault, Takara was who make avaible the dipswitches cheat, not the other release.
[2] You can't bypass the Takara logo, if you press start before the logo shows up the codes will not work.
[3] This will enable: "Alternate costume colors and super moves" and "Dipswitches".
[4] To change the character color hold "B+Start" and release start, now move to others characters with the "B" pressed.
[5] To enter dipswitches you have to go to Options->Test there will appear a series of configurations:
Disable switch menu0-1 Mid-air juggling1-2 Unknown2-3 Unlimited super power3-4
That's all.
