The Fiery Furnaces - Quay Cur

The Fiery Furnaces are just the most amazingly listenable band, despite, or maybe because of, their liberal use of of dissonance and unorthodox song structure. Or maybe they're just really really good.

    Default I'm listening to...

Right now, I'm listening to Go Forward/Go Back by Yuzo Koshiro/Gecko Yamori.

That song kicks butt (joke not intended)!

I swear, VHI's 100 One Hit Wonders is amazing for finding some forgotten gems.

    I still wish they'd do another 100.

Still not listening to anything. I wonder if I'm the only person in the entire world who doesn't listen to music 24/7.

Well, I dunno about anyone else, but if I'm on the computer, I generally have music playing. So it's not 24-7, but it just so happens that whenever I see this thread, music is playing.

    Anyway,
Tim Follin - Animation and Coral Reef

Defender of the Future was an amazing game, I thought. I didn't much like the way they left the Vortex and the like out, but it really showed the world what next-gen Ecco could be like. And the soundtrack rocked.
