I have an American version of Phantasy Star 4 that seems to be region locked within the cartridge
I own an very pal megadrive (with high definition sounds and the modem plug etc...)
The megadrive has played other genesis games without problems like mortal kombat 2
I have a game genie but cannot find a region lock code anywhere for this game
can anyone help me please as I am dieing to play this game )

Even if you did find a Game Genie code, Phantasy Star IV would be unable to save your progress attached to it - you're only option is to region-mod your console.
