Anything I am actively working on I copy to Dropbox after every night I make progress. I run Dropbox on both my work laptop and personal laptop, so I get the data saved in three different places.
I know about a HDD recovery facility that's actually affordable (less than €300 if I remember correctly). I'll dig out the address and send it to you. I think I still have your email address.
The echo sound engine just got updated to 0.9, fixed several bug, now project MD sounds much better! Updated build should be also out on the website soonish.

Oerg866, thanks for providing information with respect to the update. Do you think we might see a video featuring improvements made thus far?
P.S. I may actually have to bug you about fixing that tape deck on that old Toshiba Ghettoblaster!![]()
The fictional character Gordon Gekko once stated,"Greed, for lack of a better word, is good". Gekko is sometimes unfairly judged. There is a big difference between maintaining one's moral compass in business and that which operates in one's personal life. In business, the reality is that if you are not willing to crush your competitor, you might as well get out of the game while you're still ahead.
If anyone has a failed harddrive I recommend using spin rite http://www.grc.com/sr/spinrite.htm

Another video published by sik yesterday:
In the video description sik is asking for feedback with respect to the lowering the level of difficulty. If you would like to give feedback, you will have to log into your Youtube account and post your feedback in the comment's section of the original video which can be found here:

I like the level design at the end and personally I think the degree of difficulty should not be changed!

Looks great at always!
Any word if he wants to come back to Sega-16? I'll gladly unban him.
As far as the difficulty goes, I think programers/designers tend to make things too hard when they are trying to challenge themselves. They know all of the inner workings and exactly what must be done and assume it might be too easy for everyone else to figure it out. I saw this first hand when I designed a few levels for Little Big Planet. People were bitching about the difficulty and I was like "What? It wasn't as easy for you as it was for me?"

holy sh#t this's the most amazing genesis homebrew I've ever seen.
*edit* Gave this a good play on the mega everdrive last night. The music and also the music engine are pretty awesome. The graphics engine is also awesome. The graphics are more than good enough. The game engine feels very solid. My only complaint is having to hold the "right" arrow on my d-pad for extended periods of time....this really made my thumb start to hurt. The levels are very long (which isn't a bad thing) and most of what you do is just time when you hold down the right arrow and occasionally time a jump. Really my only complaint would be lack of breaks from holding down that right arrow....but that could be fixed by buying some sort of ergonomic genesis controller.

I'd really pay TOP GOLD for this game, even if it's just for the cool graphical effects/style and the amazing music - they are among the best on the system for sure. So, got news?
Buy stuff at the Magical Game Factory, WaterMelon's crowd funding video game development site!
Do YOU have any games you want to get rid of that haven't been reviewed on the site and needs to be beaten for the sake of this project? Send 'em to me and I'll review and beat them! I'll pay for shipping of course. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
