Why? Because I like my shadowrun with a great storyline and flow?

Watch your back, shoot straight, and never cut a deal with the dragon. (from Shadowrun)
Nice sig Shinobi. Jim thorpe? Like it.
I tried to like this game.. but omg is so boring to me
too old for video games huh?
To me Shadowrun on genesis is the best adaptation of the paper RPG ever made, and I'm a hardcore cyberpunk lover. The snes version is pale compare to it ( where are the cybercombats and cyberware customization ? ) and the xbox version nowhere like a RPG.
It's a title I'll soon aim to add to my collection.
Quick edit . My title is "nameless one", just like the main character of Planescape Torments : I like !
Very interesting and deep game, but for those desiring an rpg with a good story and flow its not interesting,
I tried to get into it myself, but the game just has too many things going on, which I'm sure is awesome if you're familiar
with the Shadowrun games, but for those of us not in the know.. its not very fun.
I'm sure the story picks up eventually, but I played quite a bit and still felt very bored.
Great game if you're a hardcore Shadowrun fan, if you're not.. then get the Snes version for a more relaxed adventure like experience.
I think the main appeal of Shadowrun genesis are the cybercombat, which are a game in the game. No other cyberpunk game had such a "realistic" system.
When I think about it, the story isn't an extremely important part, paradoxally because you're given a lot of freedom : you can do various runs to improve your team without caring about the main quest, then do even harder runs until you complete the few side quests.
A little late on the trigger but thanks for the compliment Senshi!

I find it quite funny that whenever Shadowrun is discussed on various gaming forums, there is always a debate as to which version is superior. The reality is that both SNES and SEGA Genesis owners got to enjoy such an excellent game on their respective console of choice. The fact that this debate continues even today attests to this fact!
The fictional character Gordon Gekko once stated,"Greed, for lack of a better word, is good". Gekko is sometimes unfairly judged. There is a big difference between maintaining one's moral compass in business and that which operates in one's personal life. In business, the reality is that if you are not willing to crush your competitor, you might as well get out of the game while you're still ahead.
