My good friend Brian E is a long-time fan of Sega in general and the Genesis in particular. He has some kind of YM2612 plugin and he whipped up a couple songs earlier today. Reminiscent of Yuzo Koshiro's work in Revenge of Shinobi and Streets of Rage. Check 'em out and let me know what you think! I'm sure he'd love to hear some feedback from more Genesis fans!

Glad you enjoyed 'em, and yeah, my buddy's got mad skills, he makes all kinds of music, plays in a prog band and absolutely shreds on guitar. Anyway I'm hanging out with him at his studio and he just finished another one of these called Solar Vortex Zone and it's great, got a kinda Space Harrier/shmup-ish vibe. All really good! I'm liking the bassline on the Solar Vortex Zone! I could see that song being in Space Harrier.
Slime Swamp is also great. Makes me think of The Living Forest.
Squeaky Court Zone sounded kinda like Robocop vs Terminator in the intro(Not a bad thing BTW). I totally dig it.
Has your buddy Brian considered doing any tracks in the style of Shinobi 3? That'd be awesome if he did. Overall, as I said before, Brian has skills! Thanks for sharing!
