Super Sonic

I love to play as Super Sonic, but dont u hate that repeating music while being super Sonic? I never really noticed it, till i was playing Sonic again and became Super sonic a while ago. After a while My Girlfriend asks why the music is hanging,, and now all i hear is that repeating music.

When I got a super sonic for first time that was awesomness from awesomeness.
But after a while I stopped care about him. You see, there is almost no challenge when you play as him. And no challenge = no fun.
Hmm, I have a save in S3&K where I got all normal Chaos Emeralds and visited the Super Chaos Emerald place without getting them all. This way I can't become a super sonic and yet I have an access to Doomsday Zone.

Yeah I hate the repeating music as well, especially in Sonic and Knuckles since it uses the invincibility theme.

I usually avoid Super Sonic these days since I can get him so easily he makes the game too easy.

I can't believe you didn't notice the repetitive music until your gf pointed it out! Personally I skip emeralds because I find the special stages tedious.

Well probaly it didnt bother me till she pointed it out. I had that music all day in my head while working . Im talking about the Sonic3 one btw.

I dont really like the Special stages btw, except the ones from Sonic2. But i have a save on my Sonic3 game from when i was a little kid with the game completed, back then i was really hooked

What i love about Super Sonic is that u can really fly trough the levels which gives me a real trill.

I love the repetitive music, it's one of the best things about going Super Sonic.

Ha yeah, I know Sonic 3(&K) is popular around these parts. I still can't believe it though. All those years before finding Sega-16, I assumed other Genesis fans disliked Sonic 3, just like me. I'm honestly shocked how many folks love Sonic 3 and Sonic 3&K, more than Sonic 2. That was why I made those Sonic polls that everyone complained about, lol. My poll for Sonic 2 vs. Sonic 3&K showed that TWICE the voters prefer Sonic 3&K, over Sonic 2!!! I never expected such BAD TASTE at Sega-16.

Anyways: Super Sonic music in Sonic 2 is OK.

Super Sonic music in Sonic 3(&K) is awful.

I have also noticed the repetition in the Super Sonic music for Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles. The Super Sonic music on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is however very good. That said I have to disagree with Ecco, Sonic 3 & Knuckles is the best Sonic game to me. Of course you have to be playing them as the sum of their parts (the full sonic 3) and not separately as they seem slightly incomplete otherwise. Together as the full Sonic 3 though I think it bests Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
