My genesis looks awesome with the scart rgb conversions.
Is there a cable for 32x rgb or svideo?

Yea, Genesis/Mega Drive II cable works on 32X...
Customized Sega Genesis Model 1 - VA3
Oh wow I didn't know that, I have a model 1 modded :-x
I'll need to get a model 2 RGB Thank you.
I use a regular stereo A/V cables. I couldn't be happier. The vid and sound is excellent with 32x and genny games (as well as Sega CD, which is also via this method)
I'm going to have to get into this RGB business sooner or later. I need to find an inexpensive RGB to Component converter that doesn't screw things up and just start biting that bullet. Now that I know that RGB is in fact not identical to the way these games look in emulation (thanks to scan lines) I'm much more interested in seeing how it turns out.
But yeah, aside from my last RPTV, I have always thought 32X composite was the best way to view Genesis, Sega CD or 32X games.
I play mine through an RGB/Component converter, couldn't be happier.
My new LCD does a great job of cleaning up the signal noise that bothered me with the RPTV. Also, I can't record videos with any degree of authenticity with RGB, virtually nobody saw them that way back in the day.
32X via component (by means of SCART RGB transcoder) looks great! Though I don't recommend looking at it on an HDTV. Find an SDTV which allows component inputs.
My biggest problem with the 32X is that I can't record footage from it to my computer. The video signal is absolutely non-standard or something. When I try, I get a crazy messed up picture that will burn your eyes off. Either composite or s-video... it's the same with searing colors and whatnot, while on the monitor it looks fine.
With Avermedia and Hauppauge capture cards (the only ones that don't filter that I can afford) I had to use an Composite to S-Video adapter or a signal amplifier that outputs S-Video (which I prefer). Otherwise Master System, Genesis 1 + 2, X'Eye, Nomad and 32X video output turns out like a crazy black and white show with black bars and magenta explosions all the time. None of these are standard I guess, but the conversion to S-Video seems to work great, even Tomaitheous approved!
On another odd note, I found that certain sections of Doom on PS1 and all of Destruction Derby through S-Video, on either my PS1 or PS2, resulted in inverse colors on my new Toshiba LCD set and no video at all on my current Hauppauge capture card. Nonsense!
Yeah, there's no such thing as an inexpensive RGB to Component transcoder.
RGB to S-Video on the other hand, isn't has hard to come by. Why does everyone have a hate-on for S-Video? It's just as good as Component.
I've appreciated movies more than any party I've ever been to, any time I've masturbated, any music I've ever listened to, any girl I've ever loved, any game I've ever played, any food I've ever eaten, any tv-series I've ever seen, any trip I've ever done and any life I've ever lived.
On the right Plasma screen, Composite never ceases to amaze me.
