Don't like Sonic CD (it's ok I guess, but it's worse than sonic 2 and 3)
Don't like Yoshi's Island (waaa waaaa waaaa waaaa beeep beeep beeep waaaa)
Loved Shenmue 2 (shamed to say I never played number 1)
Never played mario sunshine, seems crap.

Sonic CD is my favorite of the 16 bit games, but the soundtrack change did suck. The US music is too depressing sounding, not at all fitting for a Sonic game. I loved Yoshi's Island as a kid, but I can't stomach it now. It's just too cute. I can't comment on the other two games.
You know who else loves Sega....
But you own Yoshi's Island. I know because I often peek in your windows.
MrMathews, LOL, yes turn java on.
M4R14NO94, careful running Shenmue 2 on the 360. It works and is playable, but sometimes the sound gets weird/partially disappears. Also, the arcade games (which are emulated within Shenmue 2) have some graphical glitches since Shenmue 2 itself is emulated. The 360 is emulating a game which itself is emulating another game. Still seemed playable, though. I recorded the game on a real Xbox.
Shenmue 2 on Xbox uses a lot of bloom which makes it appear softer and blurrier than the Dreamcast version. Some of the anti-aliasing is better here and there, but the contrast isn't as good. Overall not much has really changed except that they slapped a filter on top of it.
I love Sonic CD.
I love Yoshi's Island.
I love Super Mario Sunshine.
I love Shenmue.

Watch your back, shoot straight, and never cut a deal with the dragon. (from Shadowrun)
I always wondered if draw distance or polygon models were improved in Xbox Shenmue 2 but I assumed that the textures would look nicer. Eh, for $5 I might have to pick it up and see for myself.
Shenmue rules. What other game lets me look for sailors?
Gosh, that 3D Mario game is awful !!!

I don't believe in UFOs, they really must be something.
Me to it boggles my mind that some people consider this the best 16-bit Sonic. For me it isn't in the same league as 1,2,3&K's seriously not even close. Sonic CD's level design seem fan made and are sloppy and infuriatingly frustrating. The Japanese soundtrack is great the U.S. one has it's moments. Like you said I do like the special stages although they get really hard. As Joe said give me more unique stages not a bunch of stages with a palette swap and slight differences what a waste. I would gave the game at best a 6/10. Just another reason not to rush out and own a Sega CD wait... Final Fight CD the saving grace. (still pisses me off that they just didn't port it to the Genesis)
