Default How Do You Store Your 32x Games?

So I was curious as to how you store your games?

For those of you who have CIB games, do you:

    1) Stack on top of each other, or stand beside each other with sides showing?
    2) Do you alphabetize your games, or how do you order them?
    3) If you have different regions, do you mix them or keep separate?
    4) Manuals, where do you store them? Do you lift the flap and slide them inside the box (cause you don't really read the manual), or do you place them inside on top of the game (so if you slide the inner cover out, the game and manual are there)?
    5) Which way do you put your carts in the box? Does it matter to you, or do you prefer having them face a certain way?

    1) Beside each other with sides showing
    2) Yes, I alphabetize them
    3) If I had different regions, I'd mix them.
    4) I lift the flap and slide them inside the box (under the cartridge)
    5) Chip is on the left when sliding open the box

I cut the boxes up, put them in clamshells, and then use a dremel to cut the sides off the carts so they'll fit in my Genesis. I also put stickers on the manuals so everyone knows they're mine.

Side by side, Alphabetized and mixed, manuals stay in the box, carts kinda just go in any way they fit so long as they're secure.

I know someone who lies his 32X games flat on a spare bed. Literally on the bed.
He reckons the soft surface is great for those cardboard boxes.
He doesn't collect any other video game related items (past or present) whatsoever. In fact he has no Genesis/MD to play the games.
Just solely concentrates on collecting complete/sealed 32X games and related hardware from the different regions.

To be fair you did wisely replace your genitals with a 32X so that's understandable.

The more important question on my mind is how do OCD collectors handle the upside down Doom logo on the spine.

edit: I meant the 32X logo on the Doom box

Sounds like someone I could be friends with. I've been collecting nothing but 32x stuff myself.

The bed thing: Weird, but not so weird I'd call him crazy. But the not even playing them and not even having a Genesis / 32x to play them? ...why. Just why.

    32X

Oh darn, I misread the post! This thread is about 32X games

    Here are my answers!

    1. I keep my 32X collection in a multimedia shelf. Admittedly, this shelf is quite nice. From the front, it resembles a small cabinet. When you open the doors, it opens up to display 3 shelves. In this cabinet/shelving system, I place all my cardboard boxed SEGA Genesis games and 32X games in this cabinet since it protects the boxes from sunfading and or discoloration. All of these games are stacked side by side.

    2. The games are kept in alphabetical order. (unlike my SEGA Genesis/Mega drive collection which is first organized according to genre first and then in alphabetical order)

    3. All my 32X games are NTSC.

    4. All manuals are kept in their original boxes. I lift the flap and slide them inside the box under the cartridge.

    5. I place the cartridge inside the box with the slot facing right. I don't have a reason for doing so except out of habit.

    It's a collectors mindset, I guess.
Probably derives more pleasure just by simply owning the stuff.
The thought of appreciating them for their intended use (actually playing the games) might not even have crossed his mind.
But yeah, each to his own.
