The answer to all of those questions is yes. They're slightly larger than standard Genesis cases and made of clear plastic, also, no hang tab. The advantage to using them is they're new and in mint condition and they cost about a dollar each, or much less if you buy in bulk. Supposedly there are black ones out there, but I've never seen any for sale.

I can vouch for the Universal Game Cases as well, the only problem with them is that they're a little bigger then regular cases, you have to buy in bulk so if you just need a few it's a bit of a hassle. I use them for pretty much any loose cart I've got, and normally for cardboard boxed games as well so I can keep the original out of harms way.

The folks over at http://www.thecoverproject.net/ have done an awesome job making covers for them.

    Can they hold the manual?

The Sega manuals fit in there (unlike the SNES ones), however there is nothing to hold them in place, so they'll just be pressed between the cart and front of the case.

Another option which I do is taking the manuals and putting them in the sleeve between the insert and the case. With the clear plastic that the case is made out of, you can see the manual through it when you open the case, but it's not loose in there. Also, it helps keep the manual nice and flat when the case is closed so you don't have to worry about manual warping.

@Joe-I just noticed you're in Denver, I'm just down in the Springs so if you're ever in the area and want to check out some of the UGCs just let me know.

Awesome! Only Metal Head and BC Racers to go, I think.

Sweet! Now that you have made a cover for all 32X games I own, I'll fire up the printer! Thanks bunches, djshok!

But why are Tempo, Space Harrier and Kolibri lower resolution than the rest?

No prob man, I'm glad you like them. Eventually I should have the entire 32X collection done, I'm just missing a few scans.

Space Harrier and Kolibri I made using relatively small scans (not yours), blowing them up 300dpi would've been a little too much. Same thing with Tempo, I made that one just before I got your scans, so when you sent me yours, I just swapped the front cover image for the one from your scan. Don't worry though the 50dpi doesn't really make any difference when you print them.
