Default Joshua & the Battle of Jericho

So you have played through Klax, and you have mastered Columns. So now, you are probably wondering what Genesis puzzle games are left to play. Well, I bet you would be surprised to learn that the Wisdom Tree game Joshua & the Battle of Jericho is a worthy addition to the list of puzzlers worth picking up. Many people have either never seen or disregarded it, and that is a shame. Read our full review for more details.

improves. The music is all tin horns and steel bells; the sound effects are nondescript and muffled. Who's up for muting the television and cranking up U2? Honestly, one wishes that Wisdom Tree had set the game in outer space and crafted an impressively realistic soundtrack of…total silence. But then again, if it'd been in space then you couldn't have had :

Youre serious U2 i blah these days there so retarded nowdays they Suck pretty much now.How about soem trashy metall metallica oldscool or others.

The U2 reference was because of their hit album The Joshua Tree.

Face it: once you're done with Klax and Columns, there's not much else to play.
You're forgetting Puyo Puyo and its sequel. They are better than both Klax and Columns IMHO.

Haha, that was a good one :>.

Buy stuff at the Magical Game Factory, WaterMelon's crowd funding video game development site!

Do YOU have any games you want to get rid of that haven't been reviewed on the site and needs to be beaten for the sake of this project? Send 'em to me and I'll review and beat them! I'll pay for shipping of course. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Yes, there are quite a few but this isn't one of them. It's not even mildly entertaining for the first 10 levels of play, so I won't bother getting to the 20+ levels.

I saw this at a Software Etc. a couple years ago, and bought it for these reasons:

    1) It was 63 cents after a 30% off discount (this was back when GameStop started clearing out their Genesis, NES, SNES and Dreamcast stock)
    2) It was rare (though I no longer buy games based off of rarity alone)
    3) I thought I should have at least one Wisdom Tree game in my collection, as I didn't own any at the time
    4) I thought it would be cool to have a game with my name in the title. Heh.

One night, I actually got around to playing this, and I spent about three hours with it. I thought it was pretty decent, especially compared to their other stuff (I had previously spent some time playing Bible Adventures and Sunday Funday on an NES emulator), but I remember that by that third hour I had grown impatient with the difficulty and wound up playing Championship Pro-Am.

Melf, it seems you've got the Genre for this game listed as "Wisdom Tree". Their games may be unique, but I don't think it's *that* bad.

I mainly like this game and Exodus since they remind me of boulder dash and the genesis never got any other versions of it.
