    Default Controller connection converter??

wasn't really sure where to put this.....................

but i was wondering if anyone here knows of any way to connect megadrive/genny controllers to other consoles?

i know last gen (ps2-gg-xbox) console cross platform controllers and converters were commonplace, but could an arcade power stick 2 be used on ps2?

Why would anyone want to use a PS2 controller on Genesis? That's one of the least necessary controller converters ever.

Anyway, this isn't really the same, but Genny controllers will work on Atari 2600 and Master System out of the box. 7800 too, albeit without both buttons being useable (you can rewire one to do both buttons, but then it doesn't work on Genesis).

You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.

if you can get the pinout for the megadrive controller (readily availible)
and the pinout for a PSX controller (no idea on availibility)

then you should be able to knock up something rather basic that will send the right signals through... in theory at least, ive collected pinouts for such ideas before, but never actually took the time to try them.. really wish i had paid more attention in electronics these days.
I haven't lost my mind. It's backed up on disk... somewhere.
