I'd say absolutely yes, especially if you can snag a pass through cable to test it with before buying. Most "broken" 32Xs are easy to fix anyway.

Keep in mind I already have one, I'd be buying this solely because my current one has a part of the G E N E S I S logo scraped off, between the I and the S, so not that big of a deal.
