Some sort of Thunderforce sequel perhaps, or even a version of Panzer Dragoon. Two of my faves.

Also, definitely Ecco 3. Having just completed it I want desperately to use that secret code! It would have been good as a 32XCD release I reckon.
Free to a good home: Empty PAL release box for Saturn memory cart

Looking for: PAL Panzer Dragoon Zwei manual, PAL Road Rash 3 Mega Drive manual

*NEW* Free to a good home:

PCB, instruction manual, and box inlay for Tel Tel Stadium. All in good nick, a little faded.

Given how well they ported VRD, I'd have loved to have seen a port of Daytona or something similar. My two most favorite types of games on consoles that can handle it are 3D FPS, and race games. On older systems, I love platformers like Sonic.

A better port of Doom - namely all the levels (the wad converter for the Jaguar wad shows it could have been easily done) and better music. Just those two fixes would have cured most of the complaints. A year or two later they could have stuck a ram chip in the cart along with the rom to allow for easier conversion of Doom 2/Final Doom with limits like only sprites facing the player removed.

    @J_factor:

I think you're confused. Last I checked that list was for the unreleased 64-Bit add-on for the 32X. Sega 64XX!

My selling thread, a loose Suikoden II, lots of PS1 stuff, a sealed Primal Rage 32X, a CIB SMS system and more!

There WAS a rumored add-on (which some magazines called the "64x") proposed for the Saturn with SH3 and Nvidia NV2 derived graphics chipset. (albeit it may have been an early precursor to the Dreamcast rather than an add-on . . . and the NV-2 was an odd choice given the use of quads -unless maybe they were considering backwards compatibility with the Saturn . . . though you'd need a lot more in common than that)

Sonic X always looked fantastic, especially the 3D rotating levels... Actually I always wondered if the 32x really could have handled anything like that...

Untapped potential, or did Sega save the gaming world tons of forgettable rubbish?

Basing my choices on the aforementioned 'cancelled games' list, I'd have to say:

    *Darkstalkers*
    *any Castlevania title*
*32X-Treme{it would've been neat to find out what it types of sports were featured}*
*Comix Zone{improvements on a game that excellent CAN'T be bad}*
    *Sonic X-Treme*
*Street Fighter:The Movie{one of the only reasons why I used to own a Saturn, oddly enough}*
    *Virtua Hamster*
    *Quarterback Attack*
    *Maximum Surge*
    *Dogfight*
    *Destruxor*
    *Color TV*
    *Capital Punishment*
    *Bike Messenger*

I listed all those 32XCD titles for a reason: I have an odd fascination/appreciation/bemused disgust of those FMV games, they're like B-Movies to me.
"Mortal Kombat on the Sega Genesis is the best video game ever."

    "I disagree.
It's a very good game, but I think Donkey Kong is the best game ever."

    "Donkey Kong Sucks!"

    "You know somethin'?
    You Suck!

    Default Herzog Drei

The game that I wanted was Herzog Drei. Supposedly, Sega and Tecnosoft were planning this sequel to Herzog Zwei for the 32X. Of all the planned games, this was the game that I wanted more than any other for 32X. I really wanted this game!

I was also interested in the X-Men game. I loved both of the Sega X-Men games for Genesis. I'm not sure how this game would be since it was supposed to be some kind of 3D game on the 32X but Sega had turned out great games on their first two X-Men adventures. It's unfortunate that games like X-Men 2: Clone Wars don't get made anymore.

Most of the other games that I was looking forward to on 32X, I ended up with them on a later system, like AMOK or the sequel to Shadow Squadron. I would have been happy to have them for 32X but having them on Saturn instead is great, too.

I never owned one, nor will unless it comes as a throw-in with something else, but the game that would have made most sense withing my gout would have been a pov Phantasy Star. I think that was always the orientation and the goal, however divided, within Sega, and the 32X could've made it worthwhile, ie not bullet-cased like Might and Magic or the loads of NES pov dungeon crawlers. Walking about in space would've been the clincher, even with poor draw distance, perhaps with the design of Shining the Holy Ark: those solid combat sprites. (Just so long as it didn't resemble Shining Force 3). This, particularly if augmented by any next gen play, would have had mass appeal, and may still have been early enough to avoid whatever idiot influence poisoned the DC Phantasy Stars.
My other, personal choice would be Kid Chameleon 2. Its visual style was just so suited to the kind of texturing the 32X produced. It could've had deep faux 3D backgrounds with more extant sprites. Still 2D play though. And sure, for the whiners, a save feature.

Sonic 4, like all the magazines lied about by showing a screenshot of that video that's in Sonic Jam.

I'm still hoping someday someone in the homebrew scene makes that happen =p

Konami never would have let a license like the Simpsons go on a new platform, they only port existing games and sequels to non-mainstream platforms.

Still, I'd love to see a home version of the Simpsons Beat-Em-Up on XBLA.

    Not trying to be realistic.

    How about MUSHA II?
    Comix Zone 2
    Spriggan
    Sapphire
    Rad Mobile
    Power Drift
    Galaxy Force II
Samurai Shodown and Art of Fighting with zoom
I probably would like to see a good port of Pit Fighter!

These would be my pipe dreams as well. I am probably the slowest person in the world to realize these games needed to make money first, and be well made second.
