    Default Retrofusion - retro website

I have been running a retro site for about a year - I have given it a boost over the last 3 months and would very much like a few more helpers to run the site.

    The site is at www.retrofusion.org.uk

Ideally I would like some individuals to post up daily 'News' items. These are interesting finds and news in the retro world.

I would also like regular features and I have a list of retro celebs lined up for interview that I would like help with.

Then there is the community spirit - forum and news/feature posts. The site gets around 6-800 unique visitors a day. I need to try and get those guys to register and be apart of the site.

The site has good Alexa rankings : http://www.alexa.com/search?q=retrof..._home&p=bigtop

The rankings are coming down each day. The challenge now is to get paid advertising - if we get that then I can pay contributors.

Let us know what you think and if your interested.

    Cheers.

Hm, no offense, but the site looks pretty cluttered. For examples, Listing games only by name, regardless of what system they were released on? I know it's still WIP, but it's a horror to skim through if you look for something in particular, and even more so if you just browse with nothing in particular in mind. I'd re-think the way of sorting, like maybe creating more subcategories.

Second, including the iPhone as a gaming platform (I know there are retro- and retro-style games released on it, but still, it's not exactly old gen)? And news articles on a Star Wars limited edition release for Kinect/XBOX 360? Doesn't exactly look retro, does it? Do you want to present a gaming site in general, or a retro site in particular?

Also, if you want to attract advertisers - do you have an USP? What is setting your site apart from other Retro Sites? Frankly, On first glance I don't see any big difference.

Finally, please pick a bigger font size for your articles! Reading walls of text in such a small font is horrible!

    Best regards.
The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?
