    Galaga FIFA Soccer '96

Though many would argue that Sensible Soccer was the better series, Electronic Arts' FIFA games helped define the sport of soccer on the Genesis, and they are still very playable today. Some were better than others though, as evidenced by marked contrasts between the '95 and '96 installments. Read our full review for more information.

FIFA '96 for the 32X is bad? That 3d field is fairly impressive though, it at least makes good use of the hardware and clearly isn't something that could have been done on the Genesis...

And, finally, this is the one that made us go shit-crazy: At last we got real players! And not only that: We could edit and create teams to include ourselves and our schoolmates and imagine ourselves as stars. Too bad it was only Attachment 14444, but we had our fun

Then came the best FIFA IMHO. 97 (not reviewed in this site at the present) had the awesome indoor mode, which was the most fun I've ever had on a FIFA or any footie game - except, maybe (biiiiig MAYBE), the time machine that was Viva Football on the PSX and those crazy matches on This Is Football 2004 on the PS2, with all the weird circus, safari and farm sounds - and I must have played more than 10 editions.
