Reputation Problem.

For some reason when people give reputation, my User Control Panel now no longer shows me who's giving it to me. No idea why this is aside from maybe because I'm a moderator now. Joe, Melf, or InternalPrimate, is this the same for you guys?

Mine stopped showing it earlier this year. One day the names were there, next day they weren't. So I've been in the dark regarding who's repped me for quite a few months.

Click on "settings" in the upper-right corner, and you'll see all your rep.

On the settings page, yeah. The rep panel shows no names.

This I know. It's the names of who gave the rep that's gone.

Strange, The names display fine in my user control panel. Of course, I'm not a moderator, but I don't believe The Coop is either, however he is a "Site Contributor". Still, I have no idea what the problem could be.

Maybe it's some kind of a odd preventative measure? You know, to prevent any kind of ass kissing and special treatment from those who carry a site label of some kind (contributor, mod, staff writer, admin, etc.). Far fetched I know, but...

When I changed my email address, I had this problem too and had no idea why it wasn't working. Turns out I forgot to re-activate my account through my new email. Oops. Afterwords all of my account was back to normal.

Your fix probably isn't quite as simple though. But a change of email never hurts.

I have all the names in mine, and I doubt it has something to do with status. If it did, Baloo would be able to see his as well. It might be what Guntz mentioned, but I honestly have no idea. vBulletin is such a convoluted POS that changes so often that I don't even want to begin to figure it out.

Also, it really doesn't matter that much on who is giving who reps, you should just be happy your even getting them, shows you got a lot of respect here. :P

Haha, I just wanted to send them some thanks! People thank me all the time for giving them Rep, would like to return the favor but it's looking like I won't ever be able to haha.

True perhaps, but it's hard to thank someone when you don't know who did it, outside of the occasional "REPPED!" someone may write in a thread.
