I'd leave it up to whomever we can rope in for third--I don't think that'll be Kollision, he's so busy and Rekka's not a game I'm sure he's played with any amount of thoroughness. Perhaps Genesis Knight or The Coop or even Kamahl...or if you're in anywise friendly with them Obviously or Segaddict. Those are the local shmuppers that spring to mind. Don't know how good GK is though he's certainly knowledgeable, but The Coop will kill us.

It's looking like Normal to me as well; Score seems very limited, like Blade Buster or whatever that hack was called. -- Anyone feel free to correct me here.
Hope you don't mind but I invited quite a few members.
Flygon and Kamahl so far have expressed interest (time and other stuff permitting of course).

My final ED mention will be that after further consideration my personal judgment's going to stand at a solid 8. I can't take points off for every game Kollision beats me at.

Score attack will become one big reset fest, and get both old and frustrating rather quickly. It may only be two minutes long, but how many times do you want to play through the same small section of game in an hour or two?

I'm thinking more like a weekly/fortnightly Shmup Competition thread.

I was going to give it 3 days before commencement, that should be long enough for everyone to have noticed and considered his invitation. (If not, say so).
Then a week's worth of gaming. >>> This would make it Friday to Friday as well.

Glad to hear from you. There are others with tight schedules I'm hoping can manage a session as well. We could always divide this (or future matches) into brackets for low and high play time. I too don't wish to commit the amount of time I did for the ED contest.

For the record, I really don't care if we use emulation at all, seeing how the cost of this game is so dam high, I doubt anyone here even owns it and I'm looking forward to next week where they'll no school for the whole week.
