Prices when selling on forums are suppoused to be cheaper, yet you can easily get a cheaper Eartbound copy on ebay.

That's not what I said...Looking at my first post, I thought I made it obvious what the general conditions of a trade arrangement would be. A typical loose cart of SoM doesn't cover the value of Earthbound, but I'd be willing to lower the price accordingly. If anybody wants to offer me a sealed copy, I'd have to decline. I'd end up owing more money than I'm willing to go up to, and I kinda want to play it -- not stare at it on a shelf.

I sold my cib Earthbound a few years ago for $80 (not saying your price is off from what it goes for now). I think this game itself is way over hyped.

Its over priced because of the stupid huge box it came in. Kids dont keep boxers there parents throw them away cause they're a "waste" To be honest though this is one of those games that could never live up to the hype.
