WTF Is Scart to VGA possible?

    Hello.
I've been looking around for a while on the net to dins an scart to 15 pin VGA converter with no luck. a few weeks back I bought a cable which claimed to be able to do this and I got no picture at all. Not on my video processor or my computer monitor. So, my interest on the subject has grown again and I find something called an "scart Sync Separator" which I think would do what i want. I am not sure.
Also, read on another form that some people actually make their own cables that convert Scart RGB to RGB for VGA 15 pin. Can someone help me with this?
By the way this is to hook up an scart connection to a video processor.
    Thank you

As far as I know, you need some kind of video signal converter. There are a few on Ebay that do it, with one that basically does every kind of signal and interface existent until now. Very expensive, though.

It is possible. What you are looking for is a 15khz RGB+sync to 31khz RGBHV converter. I've seen them on offer as "CGA" converters for older homecomputers. You'd still need a special custom made cable that would allow you to hook up your stuff to this converter via SCART.

I have been looking around and I found this:

I think it more or less does what you described. Now about that special cable. Where can I get it?
    Thank you
