Default Sega CD Model 1 Problems

Just bought one for about $5, but it's having some issues.
It powers on, and I throw in a game. It starts to load for second and this spits my game back out. I'm assuming its the laser right? Should I clean it?
Also, how do I even open it? I got all the screws out and I'm a bit puzzled on how to open it...
    Thanks a ton guys.

Call Sega's official repair line, they might be able to help 17148364981
    The internet doesn't apply here.

Cotton bud (Q-tip) with, well I use Methylated spirits, I think folk in America use iso-alcohol stuff.

If that doesn't work you may be up for a new laser.

It might have to do with the disc tray. I had that problem before too.

Try HERE to see if that might help. It's similar to what I ended up doing on mine.

    Thanks guys!
Yeah, I used the q tip on the lens and it worked good.
But then the motor was making this weird sound, so i just pushed the gear...
    Started working great!
