I peeped this on I-mockery.com and since Halloween is fast approaching I thought I might post it here. Its a game someone is making called TerrorDrome that has a bunch of horror movie monsters scrapping it out Mortal Kombat style.

Wasn't this that fangame that got a C&D from Warner Bros/20th Century Fox? I'm pretty sure it was. Shame, looked quite good.

I don't believe they were ordered to stop working on it, I think they decided it wasn't worth it anymore since they had to remove certain popular characters due to the C&D. I mean without Freddy, Jason, Ash they still could have found enough characters to finish it but the game just wouldnt be the same. I could live without Ash but not having Freddy or Jason kills it.

I randomly googled this game just to see what was up with it and to my surprise it did not get cancelled. Appearently the guy working on it hopes to finish it this year. The latest version has Candyman and Zombie Jason as playable characters. I guess the guy is trying to "hide" the game from the major studios so you have to email him if you want to DL it.

It is great fun, I just wish the fighting engine was better.. Fighter Maker is 11 years old and so very very limited,
its a damn shame actually, so much more could have been done with it, but now it plays as a flash game.

Pinhead will supposedly be the last boss in the final version. That could be cool. So Pinhead and Herbert West will be added to the final version and then thats it the game is finished.

True. Looking back at the past roster, Pinhead seems to be missing. Why did he get the chop, I wonder?

Pinhead didnt get cut, he's going to be in the final version. As for Pennywise, you probably have to make up a lot of attacks for him since he doesnt really have any.

OK, that's good to hear. About Pennywise, he's a shapeshifter, so really, he's got an unlimited potential for moves.

They released a new version on Halloween but its not the final version as was promised. They added Herbert West to it but we still got to wait for Pinhead. They said there's another surprise character coming as well. Saw this on their facebook page:

Hey look a little here!? This is a project created by a fan and sent to the devs of Terrordrome to convince them to put as the last char Penny Wise! =) What do you think?!

I've been playing the new version for a while now, I absolutely love Herbert West, guy is a classic.
