Should i get this HDG genesis?

Hey guys I spotted a non tmss hdg model 1 genesis at my local gamestore for $25 and was wondering whether I should get it or not?

I'm currently using a retron 3 to play all my retro games but really want to use the real thing.

Is that a good price?

Yes. Better deal if you're positive about the non tmss. of course after postage you won't find any model 1 that much cheaper.

Even if it's a HDG Genesis Model 1 with TMSS (that black screen with white text before the SEGA logo), for $25 that will be a HUGE improvement over your awful RetroN3. Go buy it ASAP.

Ahh good thats all i need to know guys im getting it. Thanks! I wasnt too impressed with the way the retron 3 handles the sound for the genesis. The super nintendo sound is even worse imo, even though some claim its almost perfect, mine sounds super loud and really really distorted. Perhaps this one has a faulty sound chip for the snes. Anyways I bought a snes from a racketboy user and it should be arriving soon. Problem solved

yea i was in the same boat as you, got a retron 3 and then the real hardware. HUGE difference! DO IT!
