I thought I could hold out, but after wading through Two Worlds II last night, I asked myself: Why am I playing this over Skyrim?
I picked up the PS3 version today at Target. It came with a $10 gift card.

To those who got the PC version: it sucks to be you.
Skyrim, or How Not to Make a PC Game
Seriously, how do you screw up the interface so badly?
*yawn*
Played till 8 in the morning.. great game!
Trying to get married to this barbarian chick in a town South East of the map, but she's got beef with the thieves guild and i can't seem to find out what to do.
I stopped reading at "After Fallout 3's interface left me with a bad taste in my mouth"
If he's too thick to figure out how to use FO3's interface, I'm amazed he can piss without drowning himself.
I liked Hexen II BITD. Recently I picked up Morrowind. Standing directly in front of something and not being able to hit it with my sword while it raped me ugly pissed me off. That was pretty much the end for me and FPRPGs.
Ahh, Morrowind. I absolutely HATED that game the first time I played it... then I ended up putting 250+ hours into it, lol.
When you start out, your character can barely kill a rat without dying, but you eventually end up with an overpowered superhero who can jump over buildings, walk on water, fly through the air, and even kill a god. The system allows a ridiculous amount of customization, as long as you can overcome the mile-high learning curve. If you can hang in there, it's definitely one of the most satisfying RPG experiences you can find on any system.
I'm still disappointed that Oblivion and Skyrim took away so much of the freedom of Morrowind, although the end result is a more immediately accessible game, which is important these days.
lol That sounds like me, except I finally gave up. Maybe I'll try it again, only this time I'm going to just run off and do my own thing. Screw the guilds and all that B.S.
My god Shivering Isles is short; only put in about 6 hours and I've finished the main quest already.
that's what side quests are for Jackal, Oh and personally I greatly enjoyed Knights of the Nine.
Did you finish that one yet?
I picked up Skyrim on 11-11-11 and Ive been playing the heck out of it. I also picked up the huge strategy guide for it. So far I like it a lot. I wasn't very fond of Oblivion, but Skyrim seems a lot better. Morrowind was definitely a pretty awesome game. I played that game non stop a few years ago, and recently began playing it again. I like to try to kill everyone and get powered up.
I played about 8 hours yesterday. I killed my third Dragon, showed up in the middle of nowhere. I need to find more of the Nordic arrows, if I plan on taking on any more Dragons.
