unfortunally my rang seems to have reset it self to deaths adder minion

and not just mine but the whoel board is a minion now

I have finally been approved, I recall joining up a while ago (months, could have been a year) and never being activated. Seems the account was deleted though as I have had to re-register.

and all the threads stay perpetually unread and each time i click on them i am shot to the first post

and the mods arent in a hurry to reply

They first have to verify your spam bot status. Are you or are you not? Once that has been determined, they'll then act accordingly. But the thing is you keep catching them off-guard with logically worded posts, so that process might take longer.

User ranks have been fixed. That must've been when I was working with the usergroups a few weeks back.

Sorry for not responding sooner. I'm working on my doctoral comprehensive exams, and it's consumed me for the past 2 months or so. Things should be back to normal later this month. Also, we're going to upgrade the forum soon, so hopefully all the kinks will be worked out then.

Ahhh... so that's who deleted the prohibitionary usergroup!

It wasn't probationary though. We still had the probationary members group, but there were two registered user groups. I don't know why, but new members were automatically being put in registered users + and could post right away. I've mitigated some of it, but it's still happening occasionally.

It's possible that vBulletin just sucks.

I must admit its good to have a moderated forum.
I remember how the AOL chat used to be, god what a mess.
And thanks to the rules we now have a safe place to play.
Keep up the good work mods.
(And I didn't take long to register either, then I waited a day and then pm a mod.)
