The Sega-16 banner from The Next Level is completely black, giving a nice black bar on the screen. I've tried allowing everything through NoScript and it's still black, so that's not the problem... looks like it's on their end.

Is that where that black bar came from? I've got adblock plus and I haven't seen any ads until the last couple of weeks when this black bar showed up.

I just used AdBlock to get rid of that stupid rectangular black box. Seems to be an ad box coded incorrectly.

Anyways, I see the ad banner as intended. Sure, it flashes black for a while before it has completed loading, but after a few seconds the ads are displayed. Maybe it was only temporary, or a proxy thing?The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?

Well, it shows as a completely black bar for as long as I sit here... even a window to the direct url shows nothing no matter how long it's left open.
I'm using Firefox 10 from the Ubuntu repo, and have both AdBlock and NoScript disabled for this site. It's probably something Windows specific they're doing for IE9...
