Has anyone else seen the trailer and/or looking forward to this?

Many years ago I read up a lot on the conspiracy theory behind this satire, utter piffle of course but highly amusing.

The film has also been funded in much the way Marillion starting funding their albums in the 90's, by getting the public to give money up front! in this case based on a rather impressive teaser trailer.

Effects don't look to shabby either for a low budget (€7,500,000) movie.

Perhaps a little it too ridiculous? Probably, but I'm still gagging to see it.

The film features Space Nazis. What's not to like?

What I like about this project is that it was an almost entirely crowdsourced production, based in Finland with support from the public (mostly from Germany). The movie was mostly financed through donations and volunteer work, since it isn't backed by any studio. On their official website they had frequently asked for volunteers for minor stuff (like asking native Germans to lend their voice for "authentic" german space Nazi radio transmissions, for example). The heads behind this have certainly invested a lot of their heart and time into this project, and it's great to see that this has come to fruition. The trailers certainly looks nice (I was already hooked when I saw the first teaser trailer over a year ago).

I really wish these rising productions stopped trying so hard to make us laugh. They've got Udo Kier, I don't know how they managed. I'll watch it just for that. But again, why does it always have to be a comedy?

I met some of the crew a few years back by sheer coincidence, nice bunch but they sure took their time making this one.

Projects like this are really cool. I wish there were more things like this being made.

This looks like a fun movie to go see. Too many movies these days are "full of themselves" and are absolutely no fun to watch.

I've Seen it in Cinema, and my verdict: A definitive must see! It's amazing how much creativity and wit went into a SciFi flick about Moon Nazis! Warning: Contains lots of Satire, especially regarding the USA and the UN, so you'd better be able to stomach such jabs.

But again, why does it always have to be a comedy?

Because if you fail at making a comedy you can just claim the reviewers don't have a sense of humor,
while a serious movie would be more difficult to defend if it sucks.

Edit : And because there are more stupid people on this world then intelligent people.

I watched through it and I am really impressed, excellent movie

I did hope that moon men would win but the ending was good enough so I was not disappointed
