About the 8GB+ memory stick talk... simply, such memories aren't directly compatible. You cannot run code out of them or anything, only read/write stuff through a pinhole, and slowly at that unless dedicated hardware is used to speed up the process (kind of like CD, though less limited). You would need a normal compatible boot memory which is in MBytes in size but costs much more than GBytes of the other memory.

100% agreed, but it's still cheaper than 1994 memory.

Given that I don't know of one single beat 'em up for any home console before the PS2 with a three or more player multiplayer mode in the main game, that would indeed be a real accomplishment... (I say "in the main game" because I know of a few with 3+ player fighting modes. That's quite different from having more than two players in the main game.

I disagree, but I have liked zombies since I was a little kid.

Given the winner setting, zombies are a bit misplaced IMO.

Zombies, contrary to current creative wisdom, do not make everything better. They are a meme that needs to die sooner rather than later. This "let's put zombies in everything" garbage has gone on far too long.

Zombies do not belong in any facet of this game.

The could have at least made it something like:
    "Zombies"
    "Nazis"
    "Both"
    "None"

    instead of:
"Pay us so we put/don't put zombies in the game, fight it out hahahaha"
    This thread needs more... ENGINEERS

    Right...

The idea was to have a yes/no question this time.

The SD/Normal size character poll is great. Will give an idea on what's most important to investors, frenetic action or big sprites. SD and cyberpunk has been done before, in SD Snatcher.

Buy stuff at the Magical Game Factory, WaterMelon's crowd funding video game development site!

Do YOU have any games you want to get rid of that haven't been reviewed on the site and needs to be beaten for the sake of this project? Send 'em to me and I'll review and beat them! I'll pay for shipping of course. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I'm kinda neutral to the idea of cyber zombies right now. I think the idea could be cool if done well, or it could be terribly tacky. I don't know, I can't really form a good opinion on this one at this time.

Brain/central nervous system implants are a pretty popular idea in cyberpunk stories, so I could definitely see how mind controlled cyborg zombies could be a valid thing and fit into the story. The 1999 movie Virus, had some pretty well done cyborg zombies:

On the other hand, the whole zombie fad is becoming a little too overdone lately, zombies have become so mainstream and abused lately, so maybe the game should just stay away from it for risk of seeming derivative.

I don't know... I'm gonna wait before voting on this one.

As for the character thing. Who the hell wants SD characters, geez, those just look terrible.

This whole thing is starting to sound like Scott Pilgrim vs the World the Game, now available for your Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Some restrictions may apply. But it is a beat 'em up, uses SD-ish characters, has zombies, might be kind of cyber punk-ish. It's only $10 I believe, less than the amount of GEMS needed to make any difference in any poll, so just get that instead! It also has amazing music.

If you vote for zombies it can lead to catastrophic consequences, hahaha. I would like the idea in the same vein that you said, but IMO we'd have problems with the zombies fans flooding the forums with less than stellar ideas...
I voted for "Noooooooooooooooo" and thus protected our brawler from that virus.

With this whole MGF thing I tend to choose the more restrictive options to avoid the nonsense.
That's why I was pretty afraid of "historical". It could have united RPG lovers around some feudal game concept and I really didn't want that. SD seems to be their last breath but looks like they have no chance this time... I also saw one of them saying that more characters would hurt the amount of RPG content in the game... It makes me want to buy more GEMS and invest in the characters' scaler.
