    Default Stupid X'eye question

    Hey guys,

I found a X'eye system with wires and jvc controller for 125. Anyhow, I was trying to use my headphones with the system when I saw there wasn't a control for volume. This thing offers great sound but hell, is it loud! I don't want it to blow my headphone speakers, so I ask is there a way to adjust the volume with this system? Thanks

I've never tried to use headphones with my X'Eye, but I did just take a look at the system at there's some kind of slider on the right side of the system, towards the front. Maybe that's for volume? Otherwise you may need to get headphones that you can adjust volume level on.

Thats what I thought too, but it's actually for the microphone for the karaoke player...

I have had a couple X'Eyes and I always thought that the volume slider on the side was for headphones. I guess I've been wrong this whole time! I never tried hooking up headphones to it.

Interesting... I have an X'Eye too and I always just assumed that volume slider was for the headphone jack. I guess you'll have to pick up a pair of headphones that have a volume adjuster right there on the cable. So will I, for that matter!

Really I don't see the need for headphones on a console, unless you live with your parents. Or you live in an APT. building and you have grumpy neighbors.

On a handheld I feel differently, because the speakers are normally pretty weak.
