    Default WTB: Majestco Game Gear

Hi there. Im from the UK and would like to buy a Majestco Game Gear. Its slightly different from the original. It was made in 2001, is black and the game gear logo is white instead of being red, green, blue.

The key thing to look for in auctions is the purple colored start button. I've had a lazy hunt going for a Majesco as well for the last couple years but all I have to show for it is like a dozen regular game gears in a stack :\

That's funny. I just picked up a Majesco model yesterday at a flea market. I noticed that the logo is white and the start button is purple. Besides that, what makes it so special? Didn't make many of them?

Here's one. It's beat up but maybe it'll fit in a regular ole' GG shell.

Better screen, battery life, and doesn't suffer from bad caps.

I have a Majesco Model Game Gear. Got it for $29.95 at Ames. Though it's not for sale, I could take pictures if you'd like for comparison. The only thing I really don't like about it is the screen cover is horribly scratched, and was like that new.

Also the Majesco model isn't compatible with certain accessories like the TV Tuner. I don't know why exactly, but it's mentioned on the box.

Huh. I never knew about that. The whole time I thought that maybe the original GG had better value (as do the original games that had reprints by Majesco). Guess I better pick a up Majesco one in the future. Rep'd.
