I can't tell if your being sarcastic or serious but in the case of the latter... Unless we want to go the way of 4chan and Sonic Retro, probably not. If offended, don't waste your life giving it attention otherwise it'll escalate like it did to those two communities. That's why this topic has the amount of thread pages it has and isn't dying like the rest. At least it's not spamming pony pictures in response to posts. That's something else. If it's stupid and annoying, then it should be banned.

Story time:

I remember being on a ROM site several years ago and out of the blue I was accused of being a furry just because I'm a Sonic fan (which pretty much led to relentless teasing, confusing me with the creepy Sonic fags over the internet, and several but few members turning their backs on me in favor of making jokes on my expense with the in-crowd. The ones who were on my side just stayed quite so they wouldn't be banned themselves). They also thought that I was in cahoots with a real furry on the same forums who was threatening to report the site to Nintendo. I was banned because the staff feared I was associated with him just because we barely talked on MSN a few times. Lol, what paranoia. Why I even use the word furry is because they had absolute hate towards them. The reason I bother posting is because of that bad forum experience in the past. As for what happened after I was banned, a few of my friends vouched for me and I was luckily unbanned and I gained everyone's respect in the aftermath, albeit it took some time.

Though I may be straight and sXe myself, I don't shun gays or people who drink or smoke at all. It's their preference. Just be true to yourself (jeez, this sounds like a moral lesson from some random anime). Chill, we're Sega-16.

Believe it or not but it was the EmuReactor forums. It's been dead now but it was one of the more prominent ROM communities on the internet during the mid 2000s.
