What is the exact process you go through to burn a sega cd game? I've tried a few different methods (discjuggler, alcohol, CDRWIN) and i keep getting really messed up corrupted-sounding CD audio. any tips?

There's alot of threads about this subject
I just wanted to know the name of the software and settings, without sifting through a bunch of posts. i guess thats too much to ask? lol
Always make sure you're burning at the slowest possible speed. If you can find a burning program that will let you burn discs at only 1x speed, that would be perfect, as the Sega CD spins at that speed.
It's called laziness.
1- The "slowest possible is the best possible" is a myth. Depends on your burner, CD-R and laser assembly. My set works best with CDs burned at 48x. They work like original copies.
2-It's the drive and not the program who defines what speeds it allows you to choose. Some programs may say 1X but if your drive does not support, it will burn using another speed...
Do not use the .mp3 or .wav set ups. Use the .bin/.cue ones.
I aways burn at 1X ..but some new ones goes as low to 4X
If you're burning Sega CD or Sega Saturn games, I'd suggest you get yourself Imgburn. Discjuggler is good for Dreamcast, and for everything else you could use Nero or Alcohol.
As Kogen said, hunt down bin+cue rips of a game, and burn just the cue file.
bin+cue file
IMG burn (nero or roxio works also)
load cue sheet to burn.
burn @ 1/2 your max speed. (not 1x BS)
keep in mind...
youve only got a 50/50 chance the bin+cue rip is good to begin with.
what game is it?
That's actually not true at all. As others have said, it depends on your burner and media for the best possible combination, which is actually a trial and error process. There's many factors that go into all of this, such as read speed, write speed, wobble, jitter, error correction, etc., so there's really no true answer to this issue. My personal preference is to burn at half speed of the burner or CD, which ever has the lesser select-able settings between the two. So far, I've been pretty good about not burning coasters, and most of my games seem to play though just fine (aside from my POS Sega CD, which I'm angry at for other issues).
Also, make sure you're using high quality media. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden have been very good to me in the past, but I'm sure there are other Azo and Cyanine based dye media that works just as well.
You can never have enough
