The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...
Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

Although a great game, it's not my favorite of all-time; SoR2 gets that honor. However, as a collectible, this is by far my favorite Genesis game in my collection:

D&D: Warriors of the Eternal Sun w/ strategy guide because it is my favorite genesis game
It is cardboard, and it is a regular size box.
I'm most proud of:
Splatterhouse 2
Shining Force 2
Phantasy Star I - IV
Apparently, I have the 2nd rarest SMS game according to RarityGuide in Sonic the Hedgehog. I didn't even know. Golden Axe Warrior is another one that I love. Looking at that list, I'm surprised that Zillion isn't considered to be rarer considering its quality and therefore the likelihood that folks have held onto it.
Blackthorne on 32x.
Lunar: TSS on SCD.
My most sought after game is Dune on the Genesis. Don't think it'll happen, though I never thought I'd find Splatterhouse 2 either.
Incidentally, I only just discovered that rarityguide site while browsing this thread. I wonder what mechanism they use to determine rarity? For example, it says that Kenseiden on SMS is extremely common, yet I've only seen it in the wild once (when I bought it) and it's commonly on lists of hidden gems. Is it because its quality is unknown or lesser-known?

I'd say I'm really big on Ranger X and its crazy graphics and fun (if sometimes slow and methodical) gameplay. I'd probably say that and/or my complete copy of 32X MK2 are the major centerpieces for my Genny stuff. Less sure what to make of my SMS collection.
Overall though for all my games, I'd go with Bayonetta. Got that mashed-up Hang-On and After Burner action in it, even!
I haven't got many rare titles, but my best finds so far have been;
Streets of Rage 2, CIB (PAL), for £1.
and Rocket Knight Adventures CIB (PAL), stunning condition for £10. (Don't know if that's a bargain, Having played the game, I assume it is).

personally...probably my minty fresh M.U.S.H.A or Rainbow Islands![]()
