Default Genesis style Sonic CD OST

I discovered this yesterday. The guy who made it is supposedly Renegade on a different account, but I've heard different. I think he did a great job. I downloaded the album and swapped the original mp3s in my Sonic CD iso file with these. Check it out.

Those don't really sound anything like a Genesis, though.
    A retarded Sonic.

He said he used a VOPM with sounds from Ristar, GH, and SoR2. This doesn't sound like a genesis?

It sounds like Genesis YM2612 FM converted to samples for a sample based player.

What part, sample based chip music or FM? This music sounds like its running on digital sample instruments rather than FM, at least I haven't heard FM sound like that. As an example, compare the soundtracks of Super Castlevania IV to Castlevania Bloodlines, only this player is much higher quality than SNES music.

Wrong soundtrack! Should have been JP/EU version, since it's much better.

Buy stuff at the Magical Game Factory, WaterMelon's crowd funding video game development site!

Do YOU have any games you want to get rid of that haven't been reviewed on the site and needs to be beaten for the sake of this project? Send 'em to me and I'll review and beat them! I'll pay for shipping of course. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
