Great episode, but you can tell Dave hasn't played that many (bad) Genesis games.

    Some pretty awful games there.

    - I feel really bad for demanding an Episode focused on bad Western games.

... I feel not so bad about demanding Game Sack on DVD btw!

Yeah, that was a drag. I can't fault anyone for disliking Earnest Evans, Cosmic Carnage, or any of the other deeply flawed games I enjoy nonetheless. But Jewel Master is fantastic, one of the best action-platformers I've played on the Genesis.

You've got to be kidding! After playing the game, I got the feeling that poor Pac-Man underwent a lobotomy. This would explain why he is unresponsive (more often than not clueless) when you enter a command or two or three. Damn it Pac-Man, move already!
The fictional character Gordon Gekko once stated,"Greed, for lack of a better word, is good". Gekko is sometimes unfairly judged. There is a big difference between maintaining one's moral compass in business and that which operates in one's personal life. In business, the reality is that if you are not willing to crush your competitor, you might as well get out of the game while you're still ahead.

I'm not actually. I enjoyed playing it as a kid, despite the difficulty and mild frustration. It was simply a game ahead of it's time, unfortunately using a very out-of-place character.
