TWINE MP is nowhere near as good as Goldeneye's MP. I remember getting and playing it with friends on release day and being thoroughly disappointed after having played Goldeneye for so long.
PD MP is better than Goldeneye, if only for the multitude of extra settings and modes, I'll give you that. The gameplay is pretty much the same, though.

Did I miss this the first time round or was it all edited in later?

I don't know much about the games in specific. There are some import games I'd like to have, and Shiren 2 might be on that list, yeah (I'm sure I'd find it really hard and frustrating, but it clearly is good for its genre), but I don't know about those two...
They were slightly joking, though Densha de Go! has a nifty novelty controller (on PS at least) and the 64's should be the best version from that year; you'd almost certainly be bored by it and in terms of realistic enjoyment it's eclipsed by newer games such as Railfan not to mention however many train games there must be on PC. Derby Stallion was a throw-in; the best horse games are the Gallop Racers that came to the US on the PS2. Iirc Shiren has little text; the N64's I find the most individual instalment of a series that otherwise only rehashes an SNES incarnation.

As for Mario Golf, I don't like golf, and can't think of any golf game I've ever really enjoyed. I like some minigolf games, but golf? I find them boring at best, and almost always dislike them. I have very little interest in Mario Golf...
It's quite removed from EA and other wouldbe realistic games; worth a try unless you're deadset against golf or have nobody who'll play it with you, though still decent in 1P.
--Anyhow I didn't suppose a dude with 2500+ games or whatever it is you have would be too selective about adding another for his favourite (?) system.

    ~~ Goldeneye and sequels ~~
    This I entirely disagree with.
... You actually liked Quest 64, or are you not being serious? Because SSB is a great game.
cowboys is a brawler aficionado; he may like SSB but I doubt he'd class it with SOR, Final Fight, &c, and whether he does or not I myself find it a huge reach to treat party games like SSB as serious brawlers. I've not played Quest 64, it doesn't appear any good, and SSB type games aren't my bag--I barely even play the Powerstones.

To the people complaining about slowdown and choppiness in N64 games, it's very simple to overclock your N64. The CPU has it's own clock multiplier setting which, at the very least, only requires a 2 or 3 way switch depending on your taste (don't know if the N64 has a halt setting though).

My selling thread, a loose Suikoden II, lots of PS1 stuff, a sealed Primal Rage 32X, a CIB SMS system and more!

I know there's some stuff to reply to here, but I've been working more on the actual reviews... so yeah, update posted! Reviews are now up through Space Invaders. Heh, I thought about trying to limit it, but I couldn't help myself... Rush 2049 of course ends up with a really long review, for this list. It is one of my favorite games though.

The fact his location is Portugal and mine is England might lead one to believe we are neither best friends nor the same person and that I am just correct.
Now what were we talking about?

It's just one of Mr. Smith's drones. Nothing to see here; move along.

Not knocking you're opinion, you're entitled to say and feel what you want about the game, but I always have a small chuckle when I hear people say this about OoT. It's a good game, no, it's a brilliant, excellent game, but best ever? No, no it's not. It's also far from flawless as well, there's a few nagging issues I have with it like the Water Temple and the controls at some points in the game.

But in the end, it's all subjective, that's my opinion and you have yours.

You're getting away with this one too easily, because every other console/Nintendo fanboy has been saying this for years and I get the idea that people are just copying eachother's opinions on this game. I feel that you should elaborate on it at least a little.

Alright, alright, as I continue to work on the list, I'll write a longer OoT review eventually.

By the way, going by memory I think Micro Machines Turbo 64 may have been an enhanced port, I think the "Turbo" in the title refers to the fact that you can now increase the speed (a la Street Fighter II Turbo), and I think there was an extra mode or two added (I have a feint recollection of there being a mode where you can win cars from each others memory cards or something). I'm sure there were also a few minor downgrades though, as is customary with most ports.

I only have the GBC and N64 versions, not the PS1 or PC ones, so I don't know what changes were made versus the PS1 original... it wouldn't surprise me if they made some minor additions like that, though, sure. Maybe I'll have to look up the version differences.

I'm sorry, but Ogre Battle 64 is even worse then a POS, so I'm shocked you claim that It's very good.

It's unplayable, because you can only see like 1% of the entire map, and the so called zoom out feature(what a joke) only allows you to zoom out about a 10th of a inch.

In a game like Ogre Battle, you really need to beable to view most of the map.

    Try pressing C-right. There's a minimap.

Yes there is, but It's way too small(It's not like the mini map/overlay in Diablo 2 either, which still wouldn't be great in this game, but atleast it would be more functional or the ones in MMOs. better yet drop the 3D/semi 3D BS, and have a regular sized battlefield like the original Ogre Battle), and in a RTS it slows down your ability to locate the enemies, switch between yous squads, move, and repeat.

It's horrendous to say the least.
