Amen to that. I'm more of the ones that prefer to do a party or something at home. There were a few exceptions, but I still prefer doing some simple get-together.

I completely agree with that, when I graduated highschool half a year early at the beginning of 2005 I didn't bother to come back six months later for the graduation ceremony and just picked my diploma up from the main office instead. didn't see any point in coming back just to attend it.

Most nu-metal was shit, but there was a good band here and there. I liked the Deftones.

I just never really got into nu-metal, while most people were listening to nu-metal I was listening to the older metal bands.

Yeah, during that time I was mainly listening to punk and big beat.

Who were always more experimental and put substantial more effort into song writing. Not surprising .

I flirted briefly with nu-metal, then I discovered it was merely a shadow of a far more impressive sound. I've been a heavy metal fan ever since.

I don't like weddings either. I have no idea what love is, all I know is it makes people crazy, and I don't want to sit in a church for hours watching them stumble through an outmoded ceremony. Thank goodness I haven't kept in touch with any friends from school, or I just know they'd be inviting me to their weddings now. A girl I passed notes with who was like seven years old yesterday, and suddenly she's driving a car, having kids and promising herself to some guy I never met?

    It really scares me.

People love The Nostalgia Critic. I watch his vids when I'm bored but there's never a time when I don't end up cringing and wincing at some point. A 30 year old man who yells and screams at the camera and trys too hard to be funny. Im totally convinced most of his "fans" are teenage, virgin geeks because there's no way that many reasonable adults would find his schtick to be amusing. Its like watching a spazz with ADD who's on a hyped up sugar rush. The way his vids are edited gives me a headache. Its weird because he's targeting the younger crowd it seems yet the stuff he reviews is too old for most of them to care about or remember. I think he knows that so thats why he trys too hard to be amusing.

Yeah same here, I don't get the whole OMG WTF IS THIS!!!! that originated with the Angry Nerd.

Nostalgia Critic : OMG *80's cartoon* HAS A WEIRD PLOT DEVICE, OMG WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF HOW ODD, ISN'T THAT ODD??

yeah I guess that's what accounts for humor these days, I am reminded of a scene in the Metalocalypse cartoon where the band goes to watch some stand up comedy.

Thats why I say most of his fans have to be young because how the heck could a fully functioning adult stomach all that ADD, loud, obnoxious bullsh*t.

ADD, loud, obnoxious bullsh*t can be pretty entertaining. Heck that's the reason the nerd is so popular.
Still, I haven't watched the nostalgia critic in ages, he's a "one trick poney". Got old fast.
