Goldeneye for N64! Best movie licensed game ever made.

Aladdin is the best one on the Genesis (of the ones I've played).

    The Warriors ps2/xbox
A damn fun brawler and the way Rockstar Games handled the story was really cool. The events from the movie take place as the last third of the game.

Data East's Robocop arcade version was a decent quarter muncher.

I've always been curious about this game; I like brawlers and have heard good things about The Warriors. Only way I could play it now, though, is via PSP, which is a bit crippled for inputs.

License-wise, I like what was done with Rocky Balboa on PSP. The gameplay is the only knock against it IMO.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Super Star Wars trilogy and Indiana Jones on the SNES!

I remember playing the Emperor's New Groove on the PSOne, it was surprisingly good!

    Yes. Very much so.

It's an incredible shame they didn't just port it to the GBA and replace that version with the GBC version... it'd have made the GBA edition far better.

I wouldn't call it the best, but I do have a personal love for Ghostbusters on the SMS. It's garnered a poor reputation almost entirely due to the AVGN and the awful NES port, but BITD, C64 users and SMS owners both used to talk proudly about the game.

I fucking LOVED this game on my 8088. Unfortunately, the first time you ran the game, it would, without telling you, copy a file off of disk 1 onto your HDD, and then delete the file from the floppy. Without that file, the game wouldn't run, and since it did so without telling you first, unless you asked around on a BBS, you had no idea. It was a primitive form of copy protection, but when my 8088's first HDD died, it locked me out of the game. Years and years later, I'd eventually buy the arcade PCB and it was even more awesome than the 8088 version I knew and loved.

    +rep for a great game

How about some love for the best Mario clone on the genesis?

Basically a true follow up to Tiny Toon Adventures on the NES, and way better than Buster's Hidden Treasure. I was a huge Tiny Toons fan when I got this game at launch, and I picked it up mainly for the license without knowing anything about the actual game. Wound up being one of my all-time favorite sega games. The last few levels, especially the boss fight against Elmyra, are so damn hard.

As for actual licensed games based off of movies:

What a great game all around. Easily the best terminator game ever made. And miles better than the genesis version.

I typically don't play movie games because they are usually bad, but the following ones are games I actually did enjoy and seemed to stick out from the typical bad movie games.

    Power Rangers The Movie (Genesis)
Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (all versions)
Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets (all versions)
    Goldeneye (N64)
Star Wars The Phantom Menace (PC/PS1)
