WTF Streets of Rage 2 - only $102.50!

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Streets-of-R...item2ebdde7fef

WTF?! I can see bidding a little high because you're buying a few games from the same seller and want to save money on shipping, but that's about 8 to 10 times what that game is worth, and there are plenty of complete copies on Ebay for $12-15.

Ha ha. I just saw that one close. The same seller managed to sell Sonic the Hedgehog for $32. Good for him.

At this rate his FF7 should fetch $250.

Looks to me as if one bidder threw some crazy numbers on nobody would match to be sure he won and the seller employed the age old technique of shill bidding to max them out. Why can sellers even see bid values?
Perhaps that bidder is also a foreigner whose currency is much stronger than the USD. No currency is that much stronger though.

Well, this next auction takes that notion beyond madness:

58 bids. $15,100. WTF is going on here and what are they hoping to accomplish?

Well, if anyone is interested, I have a CIB copy of SF that I'll let go for half that amount. I don't really want to sell it, but times are hard. so I'm willing to under-sell it for $6,500.

You know what, Fuck That, I'd rather starve than be without SF in my collection.

what the hell? Shining Force sold for $3,000? it's more like trolling...

I sold my third loose copy of SoR 2 for $10 at yard sale, $100 is just stupid. I'm keeping my CIB SoR 2 anyway.

P.S. Mr.Smith, your guts is STILL mine! As a orange werewolf, I should rip out your guts the most painful way that you'll ever imagine! I guarantee this will happen one day! I should eat it like a king.

the rising prices make me very glad I got my complete copy of streets of rage 2 from a used bookstore for $2 back in the early 2000's.
