Default Neo Geo Pocket Color appreciation thread

Who else thinks the NGP is awesome?
It was comfortable to hold, had an cool clicky thumbstick, had comparatively few, but mostly good games, and great fighters. (it was like the SEGA Dreamcast of handhelds in that respect)
Not to mention it looks really sexy, here's mine:

Use this thread to show off your NGP/C collection too, I want to see what you have!

It's a very cool system. It doesn't have a huge library of awesome games but it does some things very well.

    I currently have:

    Card Fighters Clash SNK
    Crush Roller
    Gals Fighters
    Metal Slug 2nd Mission
    Puzzle Bobble Mini
    Puzzle Link 2
    Sonic Pocket Adventure
    SNK vs Capcom: MotM

It's a great "what if" systems, as in, what if this thing got serious support. It's very well designed, reasonably powerful, well built, has a nice thumbstick, and has a small but quality library that shows the system off. If this system had been supported like the Gameboy was, it would have been one of the best handhelds ever made.

As it is, its small library relegates it to niche territory. I sold mine years ago, but wish I hadn't. It's definitely one of the best designed portables.

I love the neo geo pocket color, it's such a great underrated portable with a great thumbstick design. here's my small collection of neo geo pocket color stuff along with the hard to find japan only slimline ngpc system, ac adaptor, carrying case.

I used to have a silver original model ngpc system and 12 more games but my ex gf stole those from me so i'm working on replacing the games I lost and getting another first model ngpc.

    slimline ngpc:

I'll take a picture of my own Neo Geo Pocket (sans color) when there's actual daylight outside...

I bought a NGPC not too long ago and have some quality games for it, but the battery died not too long ago and I keep forgetting to buy another one for it.

I want to get back to playing some of that awesome Match of the Millenium!

I got a NGPC for Christmas in 1999. Over the course of 2000, I ended up owning every US release except the casino games, plus one UK game, Faselei. All complete. Then I sold it away. I still kick myself for that. I got a NGPC again in 2005. Remember that blister pack reissue of 2003? For some reason, Fry's had those in stock in 2005. System with six games for $49. This is my collection now, mostly cart only:

    Bust A Move Pocket (US)
    Crush Roller (US) complete
Dark Arms: Beast Buster 1999 (UK)
    Dive Alert: Matt's Version (US)
    Evolution: Eternal Dungeons (UK) complete
    Faselei! (US)
    Fatal Fury F-Contact (UK)
    King of Fighters R2 (UK)
    The Last Blade (US)
    Metal Slug 1st Mission (UK)
    Metal Slug 2nd Mission (US)
    Neo Turf Masters (US)
    Pac-Man (US)
    Picture Puzzle (UK)
    Pocket Reversi (UK)
    Puzzle Link (UK)
    Puzzle Link 2 (US)
    Samurai Shodown 2 (UK)
    Shanghai Mini (US) complete
Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure (US)
    SNK Gals Fighters (UK)
SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighter's Clash, Capcom Version (UK)
SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighter's Clash, SNK Version (US)
SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millenium (UK)

I have a very nice condition Japanese non-colour pocket in its box, but the only game I have needs a pocket colour! It's really frustrating. So I'm hoping to sell mine and replace it with one of the colour units one of these days.
