Default Recommend me some SCD games!

I'm looking to expand my SCD library. I currently have:

    Bram Stoker's Dracula
    Double Switch
    Ecco
    Eternal Champions 2
    Ground Zero Texas
    Joe Montana Football
    Lethal Enforcers
    Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
    Masked Rider: Kamen Rider ZO
    Microcosm
    Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
    Mortal Kombat
    Prince of Persia
    Rise of the Dragon
    Sewer Shark
    Sonic CD

I'm looking to add more titles to my library. I don't care for RPGs, I know that may be blasphemy in the video game community, but it's a genre that I just could never get into. I do enjoy action and fighting games. Also, I enjoy FMV games to an extent. I don't think they're high art or anything like that, but I find them oddly fascinating. I guess that stems back to when I first got a PC in the early 90s and a lot of the games featured FMV. Something about seeing actors in front of cheesy pre-rendered backgrounds conjures up some nostalgia for me. LOL

So what should I go after next?

Terminator is a good game, and so is Night Trap if you're into FMV.

Popful Mail is one of my favorites for the system I'd consider it an action/adventure with some RPG elements, it's by Falcom and has unfortunately gotten rather pricey as of late.

    My picks:

    Stellar Fire
    RDF Global Conflict
    Wirehead
    Corpse Killer (it's quite decent)
    AH3 Thunderstrike
    Final Fight CD
    Road Avenger
    Jaguar XJ220
Snatcher (it's more of an adventure game but it also has some action sequences here and there)
Battlecorps (haven't played it but heard it was pretty good)
    SoulStar (same as with Battlecorps)

M4R14NO94's YouTube Channel, home of some awesome (and cheesy, if we are talking about Smashing Drive's music) video game music and MegaRace 3 cutscenes (in Spanish). Now with GAME OVER YEAH!

You've got plenty of good recommendations here. Wirehead's great. My girlfriend and I have been working through Dracula Unleashed, which is somewhat frustrating (cryptic solutions to puzzles) but still entertaining.

Tomcat Alley gave me a modest amount of entertainment, and it should be dirt-cheap. I also liked Revenge of the Ninja when I played through it on Easy, though I think Hard takes away the visual cues which is almost never a good move in a FMV game.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Dungeon Explorer, though I was ambivalent about it myself.

I have Corpse Killer (32X) already, just forgot to mention it.

I was at a local Books and Music Exchange today and picked up:

    Adventures of Batman and Robin
    Dracula Unleashed
    Wirehead

All with cases and manuals! They had some others that I will pick up later (I also picked up other video games for other systems, I love that store).

Thanks for the recommendations so far.

As for Earthworm Jim, I downloaded the HD remake on PS3, so would the Sega CD version even be worth getting?

Personally, the remake doesn't hold a candle to the CD version. Better VA, graphics appeal to me more (HD blandness is so overrated), has more "charm", etc. I'd get both, no reason to not own the CD version.

    Also, get this:

Popful Mail is great too. I stupidly recently sold my copy...wish I hadn't! Not sure why the price is so out of wack as of recent, but it's really a great game.

Silpheed and Final Fight CD are also inexpensive must-owns. If you like sports games too, NHL '94 is great.

Was the FMV games, Crime Patrol and Drug Wars ever ported to the SCD? I remember playing them on PC years ago and enjoying them. I'd like to get them on a console. I read that a Wii port was to be made similar to the Mad Dog trilogy, but for whatever reason, it never did come out.
